About Conquest
What started out as a passion project to build a home for underrepresented romance authors, Conquest Publishing has grown into so much more. Our creation team wanted a community, not just your run of the mill name who uploads books for distribution. We are here to support, teach, and nourish.
As a traditional publisher, Conquest is built on a mission of giving voice to those who have so much to say while giving support to make those voices strong.
We are a lover of all genres, but we want to see your emotionally charged story pull us in from the hook and a well rounded character who we learn from along the way.
Meet the Team
Brittany McMunn
Owner | Editor-In-Chief
Brittany has been an avid reader since before she could remember. The dusty bounds bought from local flea markets and thrillers lining her grandmother's book shelves were her place of peace as a child.
As an editor with a deep passion for helping writers achieve their dreams, Brittany saw the need novice writers had for someone to assist them in refining their works. This need is what drove Brittany to create an online writing community for MFA students aspiring for publication, as well as branching out into freelance editing through her LLC, The Paraphraser.
Brittany has an undergraduate degree in communication and has earned her Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing, as well as being a member of the Sigma Tau Delta English honor society.
Brittany enjoys genres such as paranormal, fantasy, contemporary, thriller, and young adult fiction all with heavy romantic elements. She admires worlds that show, not only the beauty that comes with love, but also the darkness which can drag it to depths unknown.
