Kristen was born and raised in the Midwest and has always loved reading and storytelling. Among her fanfiction readers, she'd built a reputation for writing characters that “act like real people,” causing readers to throw their phones across the room (and immediately retrieve them to see what happens next).

The author’s other loves include family, TTRPGs, and chocolate. Kristen lives with her wife and high school sweetheart, Gertrude, their two children, and their clumsy senior cat.

Kristen's debut novel, My Thorns For Your Roses, won't be available until Spring 2026, but she has a few anthology pieces coming out in 2025 from Dragon Soul Press and Wild Ink Publishing.
